Police officer that hit a man in Nadi last week is being dealt with through internal disciplinary measures

The police officer driving the vehicle that hit a man in Votualevu last week is being dealt with through internal disciplinary measures handled by the Internal Affairs Unit.

In a statement, Police say the Divisional Traffic Officer West is reviewing the investigation file.

They say the victim has been discharged from the Nadi Hospital.

Police have yet to confirm the reason why they were chasing the victim.
