Investigations are now underway after allegations against the Police officers in Nadi that they had dumped a man’s body after he died in custody.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Crime, Mesake Waqa says the victim's body was found on a vacant lot in Nasau, Nadi.

ACP Waqa says the investigation is at its critical stages, and they will divulge more information in due course.

He says their priority is to finalize the investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the victim's death.

Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu is looking into this case.
