After a challenging 2020 with the impacts of COVID-19 and TC Yasa, many people are keeping their hopes high for this year as some want to get married while some are hoping to better their exam results.

Panapasa Tuilau from Nadi who works at the Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa says he is hopeful that we get over the COVID-19 pandemic as soon as possible so he can support his family again.

Merewalesi Neomi from Narere says she worked last year and collected money for her school fees and she plans to resume her studies again this year.

Simol Lal of Bureta Street in Samabula says he wants to work hard this year and buy a car for his family and also remembered those who have been impacted by TC Yasa.

We also spoke to other people about their New Year’s resolution.
