Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka says it would be very difficult at this time to amend the Constitution.

Rabuka says amending the Constitution will demand 75 percent of support in parliament and 75 percent of registered voters agreeing to the change in a referendum.

Meanwhile, Rabuka has already stressed that any amendments to the Constitution will be done under the Constitution.

He says the process is clearly stated in the 2013 Constitution.
