Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has highlighted that no nation has matched the record Fiji has in terms of containing the COVID-19 outbreak.

While speaking at the Fiji National University Students Association Multicultural event at the College of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry in Koronivia, Bainimarama says the government has already done many great things and now people can safely gather amid a global pandemic.

He says now Fiji has a chance to join the world in defeating this pandemic for good which is why he is appealing to everyone to register for their COVID-19 vaccines.

He adds the government has worked extremely hard to bring these medical marvels to the country so that everyone can be protected.

The Prime Minister says he understands that people might have questions as he did, and answers can be found on the Government website and Facebook, or from the Ministry of Health and Medical Services teams on the ground.
