Netherlands and Senegal secure their Round 16 spot

The Netherlands and Senegal have secured their spot in the Round of 16 knockout from Group A in the FIFA World Cup.

Earlier today Netherlands beat host Qatar 2-0 while Senegal edged Ecuador 2-1.

Cody Gakpo and Frenkie de Jong scored for the Netherlands and Gakpo now sits on 3 FIFA World Cup goals.

Ismaïla Sarr and Kalidou Koulibaly scored for Senegal while Moisés Caicedo scored for Ecuador.

Meanwhile, the game between England and Wales as well as Iran and USA has just kicked off.
