Navesau Adventist High School celebrated its 60th Diamond Jubilee with students, teachers, parents, and alumni as they gathered for a day filled with fun and activities at their school ground in Wainibuka.

Navesau Adventists say their celebration will start today and end with a soli on Sunday, and they are expecting a huge turn out.

The School says the Fiji Mission President Nasoni Lutunaliwa has presented its appreciation towards the Government, the Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro and the Ministry for past assistance and grants to all Adventist schools, especially towards Navesau and Vatuvonu.

Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro acknowledged the church, the landowners and the people of Wainibuka for offering their land for the establishment of the institution.

He also acknowledged the school management and the teachers who endured meagre salaries for several years teaching at the school.

Radrodro has also encouraged teachers yet to attain a license from the ministry to work towards registration so they can be looked after and are remunerated accordingly, as teaching is a noble profession.
