My allegiance is unshakable - Saukuru

My allegiance is unshakable, and I will not be swayed by whispers or backdoor schemes.

This is the message shared by Minister for Youth and Sports, Jese Saukuru after the Prime Minister and Party Leader Sitiveni Rabuka confirmed that he is aware of some of the members of the People’s Alliance Party planning to form a new political party for the 2026 general elections.

Saukuru says he fully supports the Prime Minister and the People's Alliance Party.

He says when his chiefs called on him to stand in the 2022 General Election under the leadership of the Prime Minister, he answered without hesitation.

The Minister says he is here to serve all Fijians, especially our youth, and he refuses to let those with selfish, hidden agendas derail the work they are doing.

He has made it clear that he respects the mandate given by the Vanua and the voters, and he will not betray that trust.

Saukuru says they are moving forward without them, stronger and more united than ever.
