Luisa Bainitabua

It was an unforgettable day for Luisa Bainitabua when she was greeted at home, after selling her produce in Suva, by her family who gifted her a six-burner stove as her early Mother’s Day gift.

Bainitabua says it is the first time for her family to give an early present for Mother’s Day and she was happy with the care that they have shown to her.

The mother of one says she has been a market vendor for the past 40 years and now she is planning to buy the gas for the stove tomorrow and start her pastry business later on.

The 54-year-old says every morning she travels from Naisogovau Village to Suva to sell her produce and goes back after all her produce is sold. Bainitabua is wishing every mother in Fiji a happy Mother’s Day tomorrow.
