The Great Council of Chiefs traditional ceremony has just ended at the Yatu Lau Lagoon Resort.
Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka is the chief guest.
Na Marama Bale na Roko Tui Dreketi, Ro Teimumu Kepa, Vunivalu na Tui Kaba, Ratu Epenisa Cakobau, Na Qaranivalu, Ratu Inoke Takiveikata and other chiefs are also present at the event.
As the reinstated GCC has it’s first meeting today, the 51 members of the GCC will elect the Chair and the Vice Chair of the council.
