With a few days to go before the Fiji Water Flying Fijians take on Australia, coach Mick Byrne says the players are wary of the intensity the Wallabies will bring.

Speaking from Newcastle, Byrne says the players are all professionals, and they will pick up a game plan easily, and go with it.

Byrne says they have world-class players like Josua Tuisova, Kalaveti Ravouvou, Sireli Maqala, and Viliame Mata to strengthen positional key areas.

He says he is confident the players will deliver tactical adaptability as a team and display that trademark Fijian brand of rugby.

He says he will name his squad at the end of this week, and he is confident and looking forward to a stellar performance from the players in Newcastle.

Byrne says the Wallabies will be coached by a new coach, but he knows they are preparing well to face the Fijians this week.

The Flying Fijians will face the Wallabies at 3.30pm this Sunday at the Newcastle International Sports Centre.

They will then take on Scotland next Saturday at 3pm at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
