After a disappointing performance in the Vancouver 7s, the Fiji Airways Women’s team is in a pool of death with New Zealand, South Africa, and Brazil in Pool A of the Los Angeles 7s.
Despite winning the Vancouver 7s Women’s competition, New Zealand is in second place in the overall standing behind leaders, Australia.
Australia is leading with 72 points, New Zealand is trailing in second place with 66 points, and France in 3rd place with 62 points, while Fiji is in 7th place with 40 points.
The low points difference has sparked more excitement as all teams head into another tournament in LA this weekend.
Australia leads pool B with France, Ireland, and Japan and hosts USA are pooled with Spain, Great Britain, and Canada in pool C.
