Fiji National University is expecting 20,000 students to be part of the 2024 annual Open Day next month – the largest number of attendees at the event to date.

Vice-Chancellor, Professor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba says the university is excited to welcome the students and members of the public to their campuses.

Professor Nabobo-Baba says Open Day offer students a unique opportunity to gain first-hand insights into campus life, ask questions, get clarifications and learn about the academic programmes.

She says FNU served about 16,000 individuals last year, and they expect the number to go close to 20,000 this year as alot of interest has been shown by schools and former students interested in furthering their education.

The Vice-Chancellor further says that 500 student tour guides will be present to assist students and members of the public to provide valuable support.

The FNU Open Day will be held from the 3rd to the 5th of October across various campuses, with thousands of students from Fiji expected to attend.
