$2,500 worth of food packs and water has been donated to the Health Ministry by China Railway No.5 Engineering Group.

The company says they have severely felt the health and economic impact of COVID-19 and hope to further assist the Ministry to achieve a COVID free nation.

They say this is only the first donation and are hoping to build a strong link with the Ministry and will liaise with the office on a weekly basis.

The company adds that if there is anything that needs help with, the Ministry should not hesitate to let them know.

Minister for Health, Doctor Ifereimi Waqainabete has thanked China Railway for their support and providing provisions that they can give to people who are in need in this difficult time.

He says the support that the company has given them is helpful, especially for the people that are not able to go to work and are in isolation.
