Break-in at Suva Pre-School disrupts meals and learning

Food meant for children at a preschool in Suva was stolen during a break-in yesterday, leaving the school struggling to provide daily meals for its students.

In a statement released on social media today, Kidsfirst Pre-School in Domain appealed to the public for information on the incident.

The school reported that the offenders broke in through a toilet window and stole the school’s food supplies, along with 10 iPhones and an iPad from the school safe.

They say the theft of food, which was intended to provide daily meals for the students, has left the school in a vulnerable state, and has caused significant disruptions to the school’s operations.

The school says they are working closely with police, and has asked the public to contact police or crime stoppers for information.
