Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s coach Saiasi Fuli says they will try out every player during the 2023/2024 HSBC SVNS Series to put together a balanced squad for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

He says they will continue to monitor the girls who are performing well in local tournaments and also continue to work hard on the current squad.

Fuli says it is quite difficult to develop players as this is the Olympic year, and he hopes to rotate all the players and assess everyone’s performance.

He adds it is good to have healthy competition within the squad, and players are fighting for a spot in the Olympic team.

Meanwhile, the Fijiana 7s is pooled with Brazil, France and Spain in the Perth 7s.

They will face Brazil at 4pm next Friday in their first match, then they will meet Spain at 8.47pm in their second match and play France at 2.22pm next Saturday in their final pool match.

The quarter finals are at 7.26pm next Saturday, the semi finals will be at 4.22pm next Sunday, and the final will be held at 9.13pm next Sunday.
