46-year-old Laite Tairewa reported missing by NSW Police

The 46-year-old Laite Tairewa, who has links to Fiji, has been reported missing in Sydney’s west to the NSW Police.

NSW Police say Tairewa arrived in Australia on Saturday, 15 June 2024, and was staying with friends in Merrylands.

They say she could not be located or contacted and officers attached to the Cumberland Police Area Command were notified and have commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

They add Police and friends hold concerns for Laite’s welfare due to her only being in the country for a few weeks and not knowing the area well.
