118 people were fined between Mon-Friday for not wearing a mask in a public place

118 people were fined between Monday to Friday this week for failing to wear a face-covering or a mask in a public place.

Another 42 people were also fined for not wearing a mask in a bus, taxi or mini-bus.

Police say they issued 367 public health infringement notices between Monday to Friday.

The Southern Division recorded the highest number of bookings with 164 cases.

120 bookings this week were for breach of curfew and 72 for social gatherings.

There was one case of breach of isolation.
