The lack of facilities for the Wainimala Secondary School girls' Under 19 rugby league side is not diverting their focus on what they will do on the field when they take on defending champion Naitasiri Warriors in the final of the Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby League Pherrus Trophy.

School Principal Maciu Koroitamana says the girls are using whatever resources they have in school for their training.

Koroitamana says the girls are passionate about playing rugby league and it can be seen in their performance throughout the season.

He also acknowledged the support from the parents and teachers. Koroitama says he is proud of how the girls have performed as this is just their second year participating in rugby league.

The Wainimala Raiders will meet Naitasiri Warriors at 10.45am Saturday at the Prince Charles Park in Nadi.

In the boys finals, QVS Knights will play Ba Methodist Saints in the Under 15 grade, QVS Knights will face Marist Storm in the Under 17 grade and Naitasiri Warriors will meet Ba Pro Dragons in the Under 19 grade at the same venue.
