Counterstroke Fiji President, Elizabeth Reade Fong will appear on fijivillage Straight Talk With Vijay Narayan at 7pm Wednesday.
The show will focus on the increased number of strokes in Fiji, the causes, the issues surrounding people getting strokes and now at a younger age, the difficulties faced by people when they encounter this including the families, the high level of hypertension, high blood pressure and cardiovascular diseases and the high rate of people not going to the doctor for medical attention, the increased number of people in the country at risk of having an NCD, the high salt intake, the amputation rates, and the challenges faced by Counterstroke Fiji, amongst other issues.
