Fiji will be showcased to more than 110 million viewers in over 100 countries when the next two seasons of the hit US reality TV series, Survivor airs on television.
Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum announced at the Fiji Airways headquarters in Nadi today that production is now underway in the Mamanucas.
Co-Executive Producer of Survivor, Jesse Jensen said they have filmed the first season of the show and shooting for the next season will start in two weeks-time.
Jensen said they have about 300 international crew members and they also hired over 340 locals from the Mamanucas to work with the production team.
He also commended all the ministries, FRCA and other agencies for their efficient service.
Jensen said they returned to Fiji because of the attractive rebates and beautiful and untouched locations.
Film Fiji Chairperson, Shenaaz Voss said Survivor has a weekly audience of over 11 million in a week in the US alone.
She said this means that Fiji will be showcased on the global platform for 28 weeks.
