Canada are in complete control of their FIFA World Cup Group B clash against Qatar, leading 3-0 at halftime.
Cyle Larin opened the scoring in the 16th minute before Jonathan David doubled Canada's advantage in the 29th minute.
Qatar's hopes of a comeback suffered a setback when Homam El Amin was sent off in the 33rd minute, leaving his side with 10 men.
David then grabbed his second goal of the match in first-half stoppage time to give Canada a comfortable three-goal cushion heading into the break.
The result, if maintained, would put Canada in a strong position in Group B as they chase a place in the knockout stages.
