Inspire Pacific will hold a concert at Jittu Settlement in Suva this Saturday with the aim of inspiring and empowering young people through gospel music.
The event, known as the "Light Up Jittu Gospel Concert", is expected to feature well-known local artists and groups, including Ratu, Gibson, Saiva, One Crew and Grace.
Inspire Pacific Founder Ben Morrison says the organisation feels it is important to bring gospel music into the community, not only to attract young people to the event but also to provide an opportunity to showcase local talents and artists to the forefront.
He adds that many young people are already familiar with gospel music and that it has the power to positively influence and encourage them.

Morrison says activities for children will begin in the morning, while the gospel concert will run from 4pm to 9pm.
