Minister for Defence and National Security Inia Seruiratu is currently having meetings with highly ranked officers of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces and Fiji Navy.
The meeting is being held at the RFMF Strategic headquarters in Domain in Suva.
Also present in the meeting is the Commander RFMF, Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto.
It is understood the meeting is about mapping a way forward for the Navy and RFMF.
Later today, Minister Seruitau will visit Queen Elizabeth Barracks in Nabua where he is expected to release information regarding the meeting.
