Cilicewa appeared before Suva High Court Judge Pita Bulamainavalu this morning.
Cilicewa's lawyer asked the court for time to make her sentence submissions.
Justice Bulamainaivalu informed both counsels that he will be in Labasa next month and asked if the case can be called in September.
He also informed both counsels that sentence hearing submissions should be handed in by the end of business on the 31st of August.
According to the post mortem the immediate cause of death was 'fatal asphxyia' caused by gagging or complete obstruction of the deceased's airways.
It was heard in court that Cilicewa wrapped the woman's body in a bed sheet and dragged her body down to the basement where it was eventually found by Police.
