A woman is currently being questioned in relation to the death of the 40 year old Acting Manager of Crowne Plaza in Nadi who was found dead in a bathroom in December 2024.

No other details have been revealed by Police but they confirm that the girlfriend is being questioned.

Police had said last year that they could not establish any foul play.

When questioned by fijivillage News at the time, ACP Crime Mesake Waqa stressed there is no cover-up as they sent the file to the Resident Magistrate in March recommending for a full inquest.

The 40 year old Acting Manager of Crowne Plaza was found in the bathroom lying motionless with blood on his chest and a kitchen knife in his hand.

ACP Waqa had said that they will not be drawn into speculation and assured the victim's family of conduct of a thorough investigation.
