Saimoni Rokotunidau, who is charged with the attempted murder of a female police officer at the Laqere checkpoint earlier this year, is still admitted to hospital.
As a result, he was unable to attend his court case this afternoon.
He has been admitted since the 13th of this month after he told Suva High Court Judge Justice Dane Tuiqereqere that he had wires in his mouth that were bothering him.
Justice Tuiqereqere has directed his lawyer, Jerry Dinati, to take instructions on his plea for the next date.
The matter has been adjourned to September 10th.
