RFMF armoury break-in accused Ledua late to court due to traffic
RFMF armoury break-in accused Isaia Ledua has informed Suva High Court Judge Justice Dane Tuiqereqere that he was late to court this morning because of traffic.

Ledua appeared before Justice Tuiqereqere after a bench warrant was issued this morning when he failed to appear in court.

The bench warrant was later cancelled after Ledua appeared and explained the reason for his delay.

Justice Tuiqereqere told Ledua that traffic is an everyday problem and warned him that he would face consequences for failing to attend court.

Meanwhile, his lawyer, Jerry Dinati informed the court that he intends to challenge the DNA report, which, he said was obtained without Ledua's knowledge.

Ledua is charged with one count of aggravated burglary and one count of damaging property.

It is alleged that between April 8th and 9th, Ledua attempted to break into the RFMF Ammunition Magazine building in Nabua and damaged the door lock keypad.

The matter has been adjourned to September 10th.
