A bench warrant has been issued for Isaia Ledua, who is alleged to have broken into the Republic of Fiji Military Forces armoury at Queen Elizabeth Barracks in April this year.

This is after he failed to appear in court this morning before Suva High Court Judge Justice Dane Tuiqereqere.

Ledua was granted bail in July this year.

His lawyer, Jerry Dinati was also not present for the case.

He is charged with one count of aggravated burglary and one count of damaging property.

It is alleged that between 8th and 9th April, Ledua attempted to break into the RFMF Ammunition Magazine building in Nabua and damaged the door lock keypad during the same period.

The matter has been adjourned to 15th September, when the two sureties will explain why Ledua was not present in court.
