Extra Supermarket Labasa FC has climbed to the top of the Extra Premier League standings following a hard-fought draw against Tailevu Naitasiri FC in Round 9 of the Extra Premier League competition.
Labasa now leads the table with 18 points after Dayal’s Sawmillers Ba FC slipped to second place with 17 points following a narrow 3-2 loss to Stratum Rewa FC.
Rewa and Lautoka FC continue to close the gap at the top of the standings with 16 points each as the title race intensifies, while Nasinu FC and Suva FC remain level on 14 points.
Tagimoucia Nadi FC has dropped to ninth place with 7 points following its defeat to Lautoka and now sits outside qualification for the BIC Fiji FACT 2026, alongside Tailevu Naitasiri, which has 3 points.
Round 9 results saw Labasa and Tailevu Naitasiri finish in a scoreless draw, Rewa defeat Ba 3-2, Nadroga FC beat Suva 4-1, Lautoka edge Nadi 2-1 and Nasinu draw 1-1 with Navua FC.
In the next round of matches, Rewa will take on Labasa, Lautoka will face Tailevu Naitasiri, Suva will meet Nadi, Ba will host Nasinu and Navua will play Nadroga.
