Grace won the girls 100 metres butterfly heat two final this afternoon.
The young national representative says it feels good to perform well for her school after competing in the Oceania Championship.
Grace shared that her grandmother was the person who first motivated her to take up swimming and has remained one of her biggest supporters throughout her journey.
Despite missing two days of training before the competition, Grace says she was satisfied with her preparation.
She is also expected to compete in the relay events later this afternoon.
Meanwhile,Defending boys champions Marist Brothers High School and reigning girls champions Drasa Avenue School continue to lead at day 1 at the Damodar City Aquatic Centre.
The competition will conclude tomorrow.
