The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will close out their Super Rugby Pacific campaign tonight with hooker Zuriel Togiatama set to achieve a major milestone in the side’s clash against the Queensland Reds.
Togiatama has been named to play his 50th match for the Drua, becoming just the sixth player in the club’s history to reach the milestone.
The hooker heads into the match on a high after scoring his first-ever try for the Drua during last week’s encounter against the Western Force in Perth.
Togiatama, who has Niuean heritage and maternal links to Logana-Nawaitabu in Bua, has been a consistent presence for the Drua since the club entered Super Rugby Pacific.
Tonight’s match will also mark the final game in charge for head coach Glen Jackson, who has guided the side since 2022.
Jackson has named a balanced match-day 23 featuring a blend of youth and experience, with Isikeli Rabitu at inside centre, Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula at fullback and Tuidraki Samusamuvodre continuing in midfield.
Veteran prop Peni Ravai returns via the bench, while Isoa Nasilasila is set for his 64th appearance alongside captain Temo Mayanavanua in the second row.
Flanker Kitione Salawa will play his 51st game after an impressive 2026 campaign that has seen him score back-to-back tries following just one try in his previous 28 Super Rugby Pacific appearances.
Competition statistics show the Drua forwards have been among the most dangerous attacking packs in the competition, leading Super Rugby Pacific with an average of 11.5 tackle breaks per game.
Jackson has opted for a 6-2 bench split, with Sairusi Ravudi, Ravai and Mesake Doge covering the front row, while Joseva Tamani, Etonia Waqa and Isoa Tuwai strengthen the forward reserves.
Simione Kuruvoli and Virimi Vakatawa are the backline replacements for the encounter.
