The Fiji Airways Men's Nationals 7s side finished in 3rd place at the HSBC SVNS Vancouver 7s after defeating Australia 29-10 in the third place playoff.

Terio Veilawa broke through Australia's defence in the third minute of the first half to score Fiji's first points, and then Vuiviawa Naduvalo crossed over for their second try to lead 14-0.

Australia managed to pull things together and scored twice from Maurice Longbottom and Jayden Blake to close the gap to 14-10 at halftime.

George Bose got another one for Fiji as the second half started to extend their lead to 19-10.

Australia's Josh Turner and Harry Wilson received yellow cards for indiscipline and this gave the Fijians the opportunity to launch their attack.

Nacani Boginisoko and Apete Narogo sealed Fiji's win with another two tries.

Meanwhile, South Africa will face Spain in the final at 12.34pm today.
