With the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s campaign to defend their HSBC SVNS Singapore 7s title on track, coach Osea Kolinisau says they are working on improving discipline and making better decisions on the field.

Fiji won all their pool matches, setting up a semi-final clash with traditional rivals New Zealand tonight.

Kolinisau says they sometimes lose matches due to overly aggressive tackles, but the team is committed to playing within the rules.

He adds they are making sure they stay disciplined in their tackles and make the right decisions, especially when fatigue sets in.

Fiji were pushed to the limit in their first pool game against Great Britain.

Their second match against Spain saw them raise the intensity and execute their game plan effectively.

The final pool match against the Blitzboks was a tough battle, with Fiji digging deep to overcome the Cape Town champions.

In today’s men’s cup semi-finals, Fiji face New Zealand at 6.52pm, followed by France vs South Africa at 7.14pm.

The final kicks off at 11.41pm.

Meanwhile, the Fijiana 7s will face Great Britain at 4pm today in the fifth place semi finals.
