The Colonial War Memorial Hospital West Wing is currently experiencing a temporary water disruption, however, the Ministry for Health has confirmed that essential services will continue as normal.
The Ministry says the disruption is due to a burst ageing pipe.
The Ministry says the hospital services team is carrying out repairs, with mitigation measures in place, including a backup water supply to critical areas and bottled water for patients.
The Ministry is working with the PWD and the Water Authority of Fiji to secure the required materials for a permanent fix.
