The Suva Magistrates Court has approved the bail variation for Fijian and British national Charlie Charters.
This means that Charters is free to travel from tomorrow to Australia for work, but must return on 26th March or before.
Charters' sureties, Culden Kamea, Richard John Watling and Ken Mcdonald have been warned by the court that if Charters absonds, they will have to pay $20,000 each.
FICAC counsel Joshua Prasad also asked the court if Charters could take his plea.
Charters has pleaded not guilty to both charges.
Charters is charged with two counts of aiding and abetting under the Crimes Act by FICAC and is currently on bail.
His matter will be called again on 30th March to see if he has returned to Fiji and also for a pre trial conference.
Speaking outside the courthouse, Charters raised concerns through what the whistleblowers are raising about the Fiji Sports Council and FICAC.
