Residents living in areas like Viwawa in Navua have raised concerns about the high usage and dealing of illicit drugs in their area, and are calling for urgent Police action.

Most of the concerned residents say they have raised this issue with the Police but nothing has been done about it.

They are alleging that some of these police officers are involved in the illegal dealing of the drugs.

The residents have mentioned that this has been an ongoing issue for some time and they have been living in fear and they want this to stop.

We have sent questions to Police about this issue.

They are yet to respond.
