Leadership Fiji Bara Battle team

The Leadership Fiji Alumni team has won the Bara Battle virtual race after eight days of racing around Viti Levu came to an end on Sunday.

The Frank Hilton Organisation managed to collect over $89,000 through the virtual race.

The first-time participants' Leadership Fiji Alumni team accelerated through and collected $15,020.

The President of Leadership Fiji Alumni, Kris Prasad says they have a long association with the organisation as most of them have visited their school or office as part of the field visits.

Prasad says they are aware of the work they do in supporting children with disabilities and are proud to have raised much-needed funds to support essential health services.

They will now be participating in the physical Bara Battle this Saturday at Albert Park.

A total of 55 teams participated in the virtual race.
