Two teachers have been charged in relation to the incident involving a Queen Victoria School student.
The 18-year-old student, Simo Nadavelevu Boladrau was run over by a vehicle inside the school compound, where the car was allegedly being driven by a teacher who was learning to drive with another teacher in the passenger seat providing instructions.
Boladrau suffered serious injuries and was admitted at the CWM Hospital.
The two teachers aged 45 and 26 years, were arrested, interviewed and both have been charged with criminal recklessness and negligence.
Both suspects have been bailed to appear in court on the 19th of this month.
