Obama calls on young people to stay angry in the fight against climate change

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has told a panel at COP26 that included former US President Barrack Obama about his concerns with the USA being short of paying its fair share of climate finance.

Bainimarama says it is the most vulnerable that are now told to suck it up and wait until 2023.

While speaking at COP26, Obama called on young people to stay angry in the fight against climate change.

The former US president urged them to apply political pressure to make a change but warned they would need to accept compromises along the way.

The United Nations Climate Change conference will end on Friday.
