Swami Vivekananda College takes over boys’ lead while Drasa Avenue stays on top in girls’ division
Defending girls’ champions Drasa Avenue School continue to dominate the girls’ division while Swami Vivekananda College has taken over the lead in the boys’ division after day one of the 2026 National Schools Age Group Championship at the National Aquatic Centre.

Swami Vivekananda College now leads the boys’ medal tally with 12 gold, 9 silver and 6 bronze medals.

Defending boys’ champions Marist Brothers High School have slipped to second place with 7 gold, 8 silver and 4 bronze medals, while Natabua High School is third with 6 gold, 8 silver and 3 bronze medals.

In the girls’ division, Drasa Avenue School leads with 11 gold, 3 silver and 6 bronze medals.

Swami Vivekananda College is second with 10 gold, 5 silver and 9 bronze medals, while Mount St Mary’s Primary School is third with 4 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze medals.

The competition has seen strong performances from swimmers throughout the day.

The championship will conclude tomorrow.
