The tickets for the launch of the Fiji Fashion Week 2024 are sold out and the journey of flamboyant glamour with tonnes of high fashion will take center stage on Nukulau Island this afternoon.

Fiji Fashion Managing Director Ellen Whippy-Knight says the runway is an exotic location, and they are ready to promote Fiji and Suva as a destination through fashion.

Knight says Hupfeld Hoerder, Tracey Farrington, Sunia Inia and Zulfikar AlI are some brilliant local designers to look out for during the event.

She says Nukulau is outside of the rain belt and is urging ticket buyers to come and enjoy the occasion.

Knight adds the ticket sales were typically Fijian style as the sales were slow earlier this week, but she took the risk and was positive it would be bought.

Fiji Fashion Week launch is from 2pm to 5pm.
