34 police officers from Fiji will be undergoing narcotics law and enforcement capacity training for the next 2 weeks.
8 police officers who are from the Shandong Public Security Bureau in China will be conducting the training.
The training will be held at the Fiji Police Academy in Nasese.
The aim of the training is to help officers enhance their knowledge in the fight against drugs.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rusiate Tudravu says they continue to provide training to their officers as it is important to counter drug dealers.
