People are being urged to remain vigilant and prepare as the effects of Tropical Depression TD03F are expected to be felt from tonight.

According to the Nadi Weather Office, TD03F is currently located far northwest of Fiji and continues to move slowly to the east of Vanuatu.

The country will experience rain bands associated with the system, and a shallow low-pressure system is also located near Kadavu.

An active trough of low pressure linked to the depression is already affecting parts of Fiji, bringing overcast conditions and occasional rain.

The Nadi Weather Office says rain is expected to continue over the next few days.

They say a Flash Flood Alert remains in force for the whole of Fiji.

They are also advising people to stay alert, follow official weather updates, and take all necessary precautions during this period.
