Miss MHCC & Carpenters Tower Sala Korosaya has been crowned Miss Hibiscus 2026, taking the coveted title at the FMF Hibiscus Festival in Suva tonight.
For Korosaya, entering the festival was never simply about winning a crown.
Speaking to fijivillage News, Korosaya says her main goal was to challenge herself while developing her speaking and leadership skills.
Korosaya says the journey was not without its challenges,admitting she was often hard on herself and had to learn to give herself grace when things did not go as planned.
She says there were also a few wardrobe malfunctions along the way, but the support of her team helped her get through the difficult moments and put the pieces back together.
Now wearing the Hibiscus crown, Korosaya has her sights set on the next chapter.
She plans to complete her double degree before moving on to USP and hopes to eventually represent the Pacific Islands.
The Hibiscus queen also took out the Best Talent award earlier this week.
Her victory brings the 70th FMF Hibiscus Festival to a spectacular close, with thousands gathering to witness the crowning of the new Hibiscus Queen.
Meanwhile, Miss Fiji Rugby Union Suliana Latianara has been crowned 1st runner-up, while Miss Superstore Nicole Matavesi was named 2nd runner-up.
