Fiji’s Junior Kulas have been knocked out of the OFC U-16 Women’s Championship 2026 after a 1-0 semi-final loss to New Caledonia at the National Stadium in Honiara.
The Junior Kulas trailed 1-0 at half-time after New Caledonia found the breakthrough in the first half.
Fiji were unable to find an equaliser in the second half as New Caledonia held on to secure their place in the final.
The defeat ends Fiji’s hopes of reaching the final and qualifying for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2027.
New Caledonia will play New Zealand in the final at 8pm this Saturday.
