It was an emotional night for Abhishek Bachchan, who revealed on stage that after 25 years in the film industry, one of his biggest dreams had finally come true after winning the Filmfare Best Actor Award.



While accepting his award, Abhishek said it was even more special to receive it in front of his family.

He gave heartfelt thanks to his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya, calling them his greatest pillars of strength and inspiration.

Abhishek shared the award with Karthik Aryan for his incredible performance in the film Chandu Champion.

This is his second consecutive award after winning it last year for Bhool Bhulaiya 3.

Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao won Best Actor (Critics) for Srikanth, while Pratibha Ranta took home Best Actress (Critics) for Laapataa Ladies.



Rising star Lakshya bagged Best Debut (Male) for Kill, Nitanshi Goel of Laapataa Ladies earned Best Debut (Female), and Kunal Kemmu was honoured with Best Debut Director for Madgaon Express.



Laapataa Ladies dominated the night, also winning Best Music Album, Best Supporting Actress (Chhaya Kadam) and Best Supporting Actor (Ravi Kishan).



In the music categories, Arijit Singh won Best Playback Singer (Male) for “Sajni” from Laapataa Ladies, while Madhubanti Bagchi took home Best Playback Singer (Female) for “Aaj Ki Raat” from Stree 2.



Choreographer duo Bosco–Caesar set the stage on fire, clinching Best Choreography for Tauba Tauba.



The night also honoured legends, with Zeenat Aman and the late Shyam Benegal receiving the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Awards, celebrating their timeless contribution to Indian cinema.
