Grand Pacific Hotel high tea sells out as Pastry Chef Kirsten Tibballs showcases exclusive desserts

The Grand Pacific Hotel hosted a sold-out high tea event featuring internationally renowned pastry chef Kirsten Tibballs.

Regional General Manager for Fiji at InterContinental Hotels Group, Lachlan Walker welcomed 65 guests and highlighted the significance of the event.

Tibballs created exclusive recipes for the high tea, including French macarons with passionfruit chocolate ganache, raspberry financiers with whipped white chocolate cream and hibiscus and caramel truffles.

She says that guests also enjoyed white chocolate and raspberry scones, lemon meringue tarts, and chocolate chip cookies filled with orange ganache.

She will host live dessert demonstrations at Navo Restaurant and create a signature dessert for an upcoming beach party.

Tibballs is encouraging people to attend the events or check the scheduled dates during her visit.

She adds that it is an honour to work in Fiji and has praised Fijians as the nicest people on earth.
