The Suva High Court will make its ruling on 14th July on the baill application of the man who is alleged to have broken into the Republic of Fiji Military Forces armoury at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks.
Isaia Ledua is charged with one count of aggravated burglary and one count of damaging property.
He appeared before Justice Dane Tuiqereqere this afternoon.
Ledua's counsel Jerry Dinati stated in court today that the charges against his client are defective.
Dinati says looking at the charges, there is no direct evidence disclosed that reveals his client was at QEB.
He also says that his client was charged while Jone Vakarisi was at the Barracks as a cover up.
State counsel, Shahil Kumar says they will prosecute and fight the case in trial.
Justice Tuiqereqere told Dinati that his client has to go back to remand as the prosecution has to respond to his bail application.
