3 accused in alleged Laqere roadblock attack to take plea on July 14th
Three men charged in relation to the alleged attack on a police officer at a roadblock in Laqere will take their pleas in the Suva High Court on 14th July.

Dominiko Tabau, Saimoni Rokotunidau and Jone Rakatia appeared separately before Justice Dane Tuiqereqere today.

Tabau and Rakatia are each charged with one count of attempted murder, one count of serious assault and one count of going equipped.

Rokotunidau is charged with one count each of attempted murder, unlawful possession of illicit drugs, going equipped, serious assault and refusing to have his fingerprints and photographs taken.

It is alleged the three attempted to murder a police officer who was manning a roadblock on 26th April this year.

Bail for all three accused has been extended.
